Location: Harrisburg HS shop (map below). Remember to park on the gravel lot.

The July meeting will be a work day to make wig stands that will be donated to Avera Cancer Center. The lathes will be set up in the morning and available for individuals to turn one or more wig stand. If you have never turned a wig stand, this is a great opportunity to learn how it is done and then make one yourself. There are many ways to make them and each one is unique and the eventual recipient is always grateful for it.

Make sure to bring your latest projects for Show and Tell and for the President's Challenge.

There is always a good selection of items that can inspire you to make your own works of art. There is always opportunities to learn from others by watching the demo or just talking with other turners.
If you have some projects you finished you can send photos of your work to Gene if you want it published on the web or Ranah or John Olson if you want them posted on Facebook.
